I'm a Civil Engineering graduate who spent my formative years learning the craft at one of India's most ambitious public housing programs — the PMAY mass housing scheme in Navi Mumbai, executed by Shapoorji Pallonji under CIDCO. That experience gave me real-world exposure most fresh graduates simply don't get.

I work across the full technical stack of a civil design role: from interpreting and recreating construction drawings in AutoCAD, to building road corridors and drainage networks in Civil 3D, preparing BOQ-linked Excel models with VLOOKUP rate libraries, and scheduling with MS Project critical path analysis.

My final-year research on using plastic and demolition waste in paver block manufacturing reflects a core belief — that good civil engineering must be structurally sound and environmentally responsible.

SUSTAINABLE PAVER BLOCK RESEARCH
Problem: Construction waste disposal costs cities thousands per tonne — and conventional paver blocks ignore this resource entirely.

Designed and tested paver block mixes incorporating plastic waste (PP/HDPE) and demolition aggregate at 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20% replacement levels. Conducted compressive strength tests at 7, 14, and 28-day curing intervals to identify the optimal mix. Prepared a full cost-benefit analysis and material quantity calculations in MS Excel showing economic and environmental advantages.

Problem: The CIDCO PMAY Package-3 site lacked a consolidated digital drawing set integrating all infrastructure elements at a single working scale.

Recreated the complete site layout in AutoCAD 2018 — road network, EWS/LIG building footprints, drainage alignment, and open spaces — plotted at 1:500 scale. Built the road corridor, ground surface model, and drainage pipe networks in Civil 3D. Prepared a comprehensive BOQ in MS Excel with VLOOKUP-linked rate libraries and PivotTable cost dashboards. Developed a construction schedule in MS Project and identified the critical path.
